Research on the deformation control of surrounding rock about large-section tunnel in strong-medium weathered slate

Affected by dip angle and thickness of strata the tunneling method, soft rock tunnel has obvious characteristics large deformation, long deformation time difficult support. Based on a case study Gelong failure mechanism surrounding rock, stress supporting structural control method section highway passing through strong-medium weathered carbonaceous slate stratum are studied. This paper proposed construction based strengthening longitudinal stiffness structure increasing integrity The results showed that increased rapidly in early stage construction. cumulative vault settlement horizontal convergence reached 116.9 mm 97.9 mm, respectively, accounting for 73.53% 76.62% total deformation. proportion pressure shared primary support secondary lining was about 8.9:1.1. shows initial after comprehensive reinforcement strong capacity, effectively reduces tunnel, which plays vital role long-term service lining.
